Nov. 30, 2022 – The Georgia Construction Aggregate Association (GCAA ) and member companies participated in 28th Annual Georgia Transportation Summit. This annual event was held in Athens, and GCAA served as one of the sponsors. The American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia served as the host and Executive Director Michael Sullivan welcomed the record crowd of more than 1,300 attendees. Transportation leaders from around the state of Georgia spoke to the group. Members of the GCAA board and Technical Marketing Committee hosted the Georgia Transportation Department Board on Nov. 16, at Chops Restaurant in Buckhead, Ga. This dinner gave the aggregate industry the opportunity to talk with GDOT board members and thank them for their service to Georgia and their commitment to outstanding transportation and infrastructure projects in the state.
